At CEO Concrete, we apply polyaspartic coatings to new or existing concrete in two to three coats, particularly when used on garage floors.
The first layer is a vapor barrier that is needed when the concrete's moisture is too high, penetrating and sealing the concrete and serving as a primer for subsequent applications. The second layer is often pigmented and provides the bed upon which color chips or other decorative additions will rest. The third layer protects against wear by sealing any cracks that may form in the material during its application processes.
We always recommend at least two coats of polyaspartic coating for garage floors because it gives you a durable, long-lasting finish that can withstand even the harshest weather conditions. We also offer a variety of flakes, so you can choose one that best suits your style!
